Hi! I am Mario. I’m a spanish Computer Scientist and mathematician from Granada, Spain. I am pursuing a PhD in AI at the University of Granada, Spain. My research focus on robust systems, specially in the field of mechanistic interpretability and Out-of-Distribution generalisation. Before this, I have researched and published in the field of Federated Learning.
I’ve previously worked as a software developer in some companies as a software developer such as BadgerMaps where I learned a lot about web development, agile methodologies and the importance of good software design, or PapayaCore as a full-stack developer. Also, during my last year of bachelor studies I worked in DaSCI, part of the University of Granada, as an intern where I helped in the development of the federated learning framework FLEXible. Later on, I kept working with them during my master’s degree where I published multiple papers in the field of FL as part of my master’s thesis. Now I days, I still work with them :).
If you want to get in contact with me don’t hesitate in sending me an email. Feel free to learn more about my professional trajectory in Linkedin. If you are interested in my research checkout my Google Scholar.
